Well, there's only a few days left before the giveaway ends, and we still don't have any entrants. I'm sorry to see this, but there's still time (right?)
Note the careful mane block (more needed on lighter models, but still a great help)
Anyway, I'm currently getting to the nitty gritty on Magic. His markings are on, now just the acrylic detail touches.

The details do seem less done on a (partly) black horse. Eyes and transitions into the mane and tail are hardly noticeable, and hooves are dark as well. That's why I have a little white showing in the eyes, and that little white streak in the mane, to add interest :)
Any tips for my next project horse? This was my first paint to finish, and I would love to see other's first project paints!
