With February officially over, so is NaMoPaiMo. The event was definitely a roaring success, with over 200 finished models! Thanks so much to Jennifer Buxton, of Braymere Custom Saddlery, for hosting this event!
There's been a lot of talk about possibly hosting more events in different topics within the hobby. Personally I'm hoping this won't be a one-time thing, whether its another year of NaMoPaiMo or other areas to experiment in :)
I've been sick as a dog since finishing Riddle, so little progress on the saddle. Hopefully I'll finish cutting pieces today, but nothing to show so far, sorry guys :(
On the upside, I discovered "Heartland" on Netflix. Those who don't know it, Heartland was originally a book series taking place on a holistic horse ranch, where horses go to overcome problems their owners can't fix. I loved the book series as a child, and it's been great to watch while I'm sick. Also lots of reference on all things horse ;)
