Many folks in the hobby have already heard about or joined Jennifer Buxton's NaMoPaiMo, or National Model Painting Month. There are finish work artists of every skill level participating in the event.
I've joined in the fun with a paddock pals thoroughbred stallion from a kit, and will be using pastels to (hopefully) transform him into a bright chestnut with a few white markings.
Before I started painting this model told me just one thing, his name: Riddle. Not much progress so far, but I've already learned a lot from the other artists and can't wait to see how he turns out.
It's too late to officially enter the contests that are accompanying NaMoPaiMo, but folks are still welcome to paint and ask/answer questions. And make sure you thank Jennifer for hosting such an awesome event!
