Hey everyone! We're now halfway through NaMoPaiMo, and progress is going strong. This week I managed to do some (very subtle) shading and block in my white markings.
Now finishing markings, mane/tail, eyes and hooves are all that's left.... Personally the detail stage is usually the most difficult for me. The hooves especially on my first custom, Topaz, left a lot to be desired. I'm also considering adding two more socks of some sort, what do you think?
I'm sure I don't need to tell you all, but today is also Valentine's Day. This year I'm declaring my daughter, Jade, my Valentine. She may only be two, but last night she helped "buff" Glen, an old clydesdale foal I figured she couldn't really hurt (he already has nick, missing ear tips and seams to beat all). She was so gentle with him, and very mindful of the "no bare hands on ponies" rule we've discussed.
Then I got to come home (after a really tough work day) to my amazing hubby and this!
What is everyone else up to this Valentine's Day?
